How to Apply

Eligibility
Any professional wishing to achieve BIIBAS Panel Listing in accordance with the Rules may make an application to BIIBAS.
 
How to Apply
A professional wishing to apply for Panel Listing should submit a duly completed application form to the Scheme Secretariat along with any supporting documentation.
 
The Process
The Scheme Secretariat will review the application in the context of the Criteria to ensure that each topic set out in the Criteria is covered and meets the minimum standard adequately.    The Scheme Secretariat reserves the right to request references or further information if required.

Any inadequacies will be discussed with the professional within 7 working days of receipt of the application.
When, in the opinion of the Scheme Secretariat, adequacy has been achieved, the application will be sent to the Panel Board.
 
The Panel Board
The Panel Board will review all applications and confirm acceptance to the scheme.

Administration Fee
Upon acceptance to the scheme an administration fee will be charged to the professional.

The first year’s fee will be a maximum of £225+vat per professional.  Please contact the BIIBAS Scheme Secretariat for further information on costs and discounts available to companies wishing to register multiple advisors.

Advice 
The Scheme Secretariat will provide an advisory service for professionals making or considering making an application.
 
Monitoring Compliance
The Scheme Secretariat will respond to complaints received from licensees regarding the service they have obtained from the Scheme. 

Quality assurance checks, including an annual review of panel listing will be conducted to ensure the panel list remains a reliable source to licensees
