Daniel Mackernan is a chartered surveyor with over 11 years experience in the pub industry covering most of the UK, but concentrating in London, the South East and East Anglia. He has previously worked for both regional and national brewers. He specialises in providing advice on a wide variety of matters including bank valuations (RICS Registered Valuer), preparing and reviewing business plans, rent reviews (Panel Valuer on the PIRRS scheme), lease renewals, acquisitions & disposals and rating appeals (recognised as an Expert on the BII Rating Panel). He also undertakes Expert Witness work.
He is a Fellow of the AVLP and a Council Member of the BII London Region.
He acts for both individual tenants and small multiples. In terms of pub companies, he acts for Wellington Pub Company and acts both for and against Enterprise Inns, Spirit Pub Company and SNPC.

Howard Day has extensive knowledge of property issues with particular emphasis on the leisure sector.
He has been a Chartered Surveyor for 25 years. He is an RICS Registered Valuer and he has extensive experience of dealing with rent reviews and lease renewals,
In addition to the RICS, he has received training from the Academy of Experts and the Inns of Court School of Law. He has acted as expert as Expert Witness as the valuer on behalf of litigants and also has experience of being appointed Joint Sole Expert. He has given valuation evidence to the High Court and the Lands Tribunal.
Howard can act as an Independent Expert and is on the PIRRS panel.
In 2006, Howard was appointed as associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and in 2009 was appointed a full Member following successful completion of their Advanced Certificate in Arbitration. Prior to this, he was appointed onto the RICS President's Panel of Arbitrators in June 3008.
Through the Academy of Experts, Howard is a Qualifies Dispute resolver (QRD number 293) and on the register of Qualified Mediators. He is also an RICS Accredited Mediator.
