New to the Industry
If you are thinking of entering the pub industry as either a lessee or a tenant, BII, the professional body for the licensed retail industry, recommends that you seek professional advice before entering into an agreement.

The BIIBAS Scheme
The BIIBAS Scheme offers a way to see which pub operating companies have had their codes of practice benchmarked for clarity. Once pub operating companies have achieved Benchmarked Status, they display the BIIBAS logo which confirms that their code of practice clearly sets out the business relationship between the pub operating company and the lessee/tenant.
BII, the professional body for the licensed retail sector offers lots of valuable support to newcomers to the industry including a mentoring scheme. Find out how BII can help you
Pre-Entry Awareness Training
